Comments
Described on a female with 15th legs missing, the identity of this species need to be revised (Zapparoli 2002). According to Verhoeff (1943), L. auritus is compared with L. lakatnicensis but, following the original description, a closer relation with the group of species of L. reiseri Verhoeff, 1900 is not excluded (Zapparoli 2002). Synonymy: Monotarsobius auritus Verhoeff, 1943.
