Condé (1979) described two subspecies from Greece: E. juberthiei cytheriaca (Spilaio Agias Sophias, Mylopotamos, Kythira island) and E. juberthiei hellenica (Spilaio Kerateas, Attiki). Attribution of the type localities is erroneously reversed by Harvey (2003).
