Synonymy: Monodella argentarii Stella, 1951. Wagner (1994) notes that most probably the specimens collected from Alepotrypa (Rouch 1974) and Glyfada cave (Rouch 1964, Bou 1975) belong to the species Tethysbaena aiakos Wagner, 1994.
