Comments

Only known from the type locality. D. margiolis was described from a single male specimen collected on the surface at night on Kinaros Island. Dolichopoda species are strongly cave-dependent insects. Thus, it is assumed that the population of D. margiolis inhabits unknown subterranean hollow spaces of the island.
