Cited as Araneus (=Larinioides) cornutus outside of the caves Kamilari (Irakleio), Milatou (Lasithi) and Kato Marathospilio (Rethymno) as well (Roewer 1959). All citations of Larinioides cornutus are considered to belong to L. suspicax (Bosmans et al. 2013).
